Yup, i actually went to see the GI Joes.. why? i'm no fan of comics (are they considered from comics?) or the toys or whatever but i was just so bored & iritated.. i initially wanted to watch Public Enemies, but seems to no longer showing at my place. I was pleasantly surprised that i quite like the movie. I mean it does it's shares of over-the-top CGIs and lots of fast actioned paced moves, but still has a decent storyline.

Although i like Channing Tatum, but at the same time, he's not someone i'd follow. I mean, he's no Johnny Depp or Hugh Jackman.. *swoon*.. hehe.. but he's like-able enough.. i dont remember seeing him in an actual tough guy role yet (no, i havent seen "Fighting" yet) & i can still remember him as that dancing-tough guy from Step Up & cute-konon-tough guy from She's The Man.

Also, i wanted to see what's all that hype about Sienna Miller. I've never seen any of her movies before. I think. Oklah, nothing to shout about though. And that Wayan guy, i really dont like his-kind of comedy ("White Chicks" and other similar movies which i cant be bothered to remember), but he was pretty good in this movie. He still have his funny punch-lines etc, but much more tastefully done.

Out of the bunch, i really liked Snake Eyes & Storm Shadow. Both of them were so cool, their moves & their history, even Storm Shadow's arrogance was impressive.

I was surprise to see Brandon Fraser making a cameo appearance in the movie. Wasnt expecting that. On the other hand, i was quite surprised to know who Joseph Gordon-Levitt was playing. He was still so young when he played 10 Things i hate about you with Heath Ledger. And this really shown how much he has grown since then.

Overall, not a bad movie to watch. The nano-weapon thingy was quite impressive as you can see from the trailer, where it "ate" Eiffel Tower.
